Emperor Hadrian was one of the '5 good emperors', known for his achievements in architecture, literature, and politics. He was responsible for several important monuments such as the Pantheon and the Temple of Venus and Roma. He also made important contributions to the Roman monetary system by introducing a new system of taxation based on land rather than individuals. Hadrian was an accomplished writer and left behind a significant body of poetry and prose. Despite facing rebellions in Judea and Britannia, he is remembered as a successful and influential emperor who made significant contributions to the cultural and architectural legacy of Rome.
