NGC Mint State 61. Well struck with lively surfaces. Some contact marks as indicated by grade but none that distract the naked eye. Very attractive for issue. Rare.

The Coin
Guineas of George II are rare. It is an extremely challenging series to collect in any grade and a collection of high-grade examples is seldom seen due to the prohibitive nature of the coins’ rarities. Any example of the series in high grade, for example MS61, let alone a rarer year such as 1756, is worthy of note and attention. The coin featured here is not only high grade, but also free of surface issues and any ‘eye-sore’ marks or scratches, rendering this rare example a top-class and hugely attractive guinea of George II.

How can I list items on TCC marketplace?
Selling items on TCC marketplace follows the same process as selling in our auctions— you can start the process by completing the consignment form here, or by contacting us. All items must be sent to our office for processing.
What are the fees for selling on TCC marketplace?
The seller fees for TCC marketplace are 10% + VAT.
Are there any other fees for transacting on TCC marketplace?
The only fees we add are shipping charges, which are calculated upon checkout. There are no Buyer’s Premiums on purchase, and no other fees.
Can I return items bought from TCC marketplace?
As per The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, buyers have the right to return items without giving any reason. Please note that this regulation does not apply to auctions.
Can I pay by debit or credit card?
For security purposes, we accept payment up to £2,500 by debit or credit card. Coins priced at £2,500 and above must be settled by bank transfer. On orders over £2,500, you checkout as normal and complete the transaction using the bank details provided in the order confirmation email.
