Emperor Constantius II Augustus was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 337 to 361 AD. He was the second son of Constantine the Great and his reign was marked by significant military and monetary developments.

Constantius II Augustus continued his father's policy of expansion and military conquest. He led successful campaigns against the Sarmatians and the Persians, and he also intervened in several internal conflicts within the Roman Empire. He strengthened the Roman army by introducing new weapons and tactics, and he improved the mobility of his troops by creating a new network of roads and fortifications.

In addition to his military achievements, Constantius II Augustus implemented several monetary reforms aimed at stabilizing the Roman economy. He introduced a new system of taxation, which was based on land rather than individuals, and he introduced new denominations of coins, including the miliarense and the centenionalis.

Despite his many accomplishments, Constantius II Augustus faced several challenges during his reign, including a series of devastating plagues that swept through the Roman Empire. Nevertheless, he is remembered as a successful and influential emperor who made significant contributions to the Empire.

As per The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, buyers have the right to return items without giving any reason. Please note that this regulation does not apply to auctions.

For security purposes, we accept payment up to £2,500 by debit or credit card. Coins priced at £2,500 and above must be settled by bank transfer. On orders over £2,500, you checkout as normal and complete the transaction using the bank details provided in the order confirmation email.
